Spend part of your summer on the water with Rock Ridge Rowing!

Whether you are completely new to rowing or already have experience and want to improve your skills, our summer programs are a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun on the water.

Our camps are open to middle and high school students in the area and are led by Rock Ridge Rowing coaches and experienced athletes.

2026 Summer Camp Programs

Learn to Row Camp

Perfect for beginners with little or no rowing experience.

Participants will learn:

  • Rowing terminology
  • Boat safety and water awareness
  • Basic rowing technique and form
  • Teamwork and communication
  • How to use rowing equipment properly

Athletes will begin by learning technique through dock simulation and land-based instruction before progressing onto the water later in the week.

Learn to Scull Camp

Designed for experienced rowers interested in learning or improving sculling technique.

This camp focuses on:

  • Sculling fundamentals
  • Boat handling and balance
  • Technique refinement
  • Blade work and recovery
  • Small boat confidence and control

Open To:
Experienced rowers who have completed at least one fall or spring sweep season.

Limited Availability:
Only 4 athletes per session.
