Spring Registration

Spring Season Registration (Updated 2/13/2024)

Complete each step by the noted due dates.

  1. Complete the Online Athlete Information Form. Due by Sunday 1/29/2024 11:59pm. If you have completed form in Winter Conditioning you are good. Upon completion of online form or Registration payment, an invite to join Rock Ridge Crew via Teamsnap.com. It is very important to accept as this is how we will communicate schedule, changes, important messages.
  2. Email or hand in VHSL Physical Form (completed and signed by Doctor’s office) to RRHS Asst Athletic Director Jenifer Virbickis Jennifer.Virbickis@lcps.org or to Mr. Matias by 1/29/2024 11:59pm. Email president.rrcrew@gmail.com when complete so we can verify with Asst AD.
  3. Complete RRHS Activity Registration by 1/29/2024 11:59pm. Make sure to select ‘2024 Spring Crew’. When complete, please take screen shot of the ‘Registration History’ tab and email to president.rrcrew@gmail.com so we can verify with Asst AD.
  4. USRowing Individual Basic Membership, Join or Renew due by 2/25/2024 11:59pm, Club Name: Rock Ridge Rowing, Club Code: DDG3Z, there is a $25 fee. (Tutorial), For those with existing membership, please make sure it is good until end of spring season which is June.
  5. Mandatory Fees Per Rower for Spring estimated $1525 for novice.
    • a. Registration $200, due 1/29/2024 11:59pm.
    • b. Spirit Wear (Novice required items estimated $200+)
      • Jackets order due (TBD). No need to purchase if you already have a Boathouse Jacket.
      • Standard order due at end of Feb, but will get several items late in season.
    • c. Spring Payment1 $400, due 2/25/2024 11:59pm. There will be a $25 late fee for payment received post due date.
    • d. Spring Payment2 $400, due 3/24/2024 11:59pm. There will be a $25 late fee for payment received post due date.
    • e. ERGathon Donation Commitment $400, due 4/7/2024 11:59pm. We are a 501c3 Tax deductible donation. Talk with your tax professional.
    • Note1: There is an spirit wear and uniform with estimated cost of ($200 TBD) for novice rowers.
    • Note2:All payments and donations need to be in by 4/7/2023 11:59pm or your student will NOT be allowed to row!
  6. Stotesbury Regatta Fee (TBD, estimate $500)
    • Travel by Vans or Bus
    • Hotel for overnight lodging
    • Due by 4/21/2024 11:59pm (TBD)

General practice schedule will be:

  • Practices M-F 5:00-7:00pm
  • Saturdays
    • Select Saturdays have all day competitions called Regattas and involves re-rigging boats at end of the day.
    • Select Saturdays can have practice.
